Thursday, September 15, 2016 Sunshine And Rainbows I never believed in rainbows, but I believe in sunshine. Rainbow’s are colourful, sunshine is radiant, each a different ray of beauty. Only one is constant, and always around. The other is temporary, and passing. Rainbows are there to be admired, they are there to soak up any envy that is shown. They come and go, they never stay. Regardless if their actions affect another, or not. A selfish type of beauty, wouldn’t you agree? Sunshine is there to bring warmth, and it allows us to soak in it’s warmth. Sunshine comes and it goes, but it does have a tendency of coming back. It usually does come back, yes? There is two types of people in this world ; those who are constant, and those who are temporary. Not to forget, they are both beautiful, as anyone in their own way is. I have come to realize, that the constant people care, and the temporary do not. There is a sense of selflessness in constant people, and when one has been mistreated by someone temporary, one truly appreciates someone who is constant. What is the problem then? They are both beautiful, and both come and go just like anything, and everything else. The problem is, too many temporary and selfish people intrude in a emotional, and mental way in other people’s lives. It baffles me the way someone can invade and spend much time on someone who they don’t plan on sticking around with. It does not make sense in my mind. If one is going to leave, then why come around at all? Why give one’s time when it is pointless? The answer is commonly known, those who seek the attention from others who mean nothing to them, like to feel admired. They like the attention, even if it’s not genuine, even if it is fake. If you, my friends, have experienced someone like this, I sincerely wish you had never experienced it. I do not wish it upon anyone. It is not fair to you, in anyway. I don’t think it is okay to be temporary in a world where many more things are becoming quick lasting, I miss being able to depend on someone in my life. Constant sunshine, not temporary rainbows. If you’re still with me, if you’re still on the same page as me, and if you’re tired of trying to find that gold on the other side, leave them with their beauty. You might not see with your eyes the beauty of that person, but someone else will see something different, something beautiful in their eyes. Surround yourself with sunshine, we all need a little consistency in our life, we all deserve people who will think about us every once in awhile, and who will stay long enough for us to be able to reach that gold. My way of fixing this problem, is by not being afraid to be sunshine, to show others the warmth, the kindness you could share, just by not abandoning . Lastly, becoming an expert on recognizing the difference between a rainbow, and sunshine. I lied, I did believe in rainbows, before I met sunshine and saw, that genuine and constant light.
