Innocence Of Love

Today I'm having a hard time picking what to write about. What to share. I think my biggest thought that's sitting on my heart is the innocence of love. Yesterday I was on the bus, and I sat in front of a beautiful little girl and I glanced at her for just a split second, immediately her eyes grew big and the words, " she's so beautiful momma" came out of her tiny mouth. I couldn't help to giggle and grin cheek to cheek, I turned around and told her how beautiful she was. I recieved the same giggle and smile in return.

I find that most loving interactions are simple and sweet this way. In the beginning, there is something that catches our attention and it's hard for us not to think about it or speak out. Child like, there is no filter. I admire it when I see it in others my age. The kind of openess that could embarrass someone, but they don't care or give much thought to it. The most intriguing part of a small interaction like this, is the absolute unknown ending to it. You could be sitting with this person a year from today making anniversary plans, or you could be reminiscing about an old friend. We don't know where love can take us, but it's thrilling in those first moments. The rush. Whether it's your significant other, a stranger you're passing on the street, a child complimenting you, your job interview that went well, a director that sees potentional and talent, or yourself. Do you ever wake up feeling ready for the day? Confident that you're going to be the greatest version of yourself and bring light to others. Because hear me out, even a passing innocent thought like that can manifest into love much bigger and meaningful, that kind of rush is exhilarating.

These moments all stem from love.

I believe our natural state is loving, I believe we are born with a heart to carry others when they need it. I feel this in my soul because there are people who have gone through hell and came back still having the softest touch and love in their eyes they did before catastrophe struck. It's hard to avoid the giving hand. Even when our frustrations get in the way and we don't feel like we want to be good people, there are little love letters all over our world. Hidden ones, and ones in clear sight. We don't know where love can take us from the initial innocence, but we know it's there through it all. And so I want to shine a light on the importance of being mindful when it comes to love. It's vital that we let anger go. Resentment, grudges, gossip, and envy. We can not continue to focus on love if we can't filter our thoughts and rid of the ones that make us doubt our relationships, that make us act and speak poorly to the ones who we hold high in our lives, that make us impulsive and irresponsible. The heart is just as fragile as it strong. The wound occurs immediately, and the healing will in it's time happen. But the scar is always there, and each beat it shifts and morphs into every other scar, until they intertwine. We need to begin to lay a blanket ontop. Affirmations, acts of kindness, hope in a new day and faith in humanity. We are loving creatures, and to me it's become something I giggle at and it makes my heart warm. When I see children making friendship bracelets, or when two lovers say hello after weeks, months, or years and you can see in their eyes the same innocence and the same tiny initial moment they had all that time ago. Love will always be this mysterious concept in my mind. The way it evolves, stands still, runs through my veins. It's forever changing, and worth talking about. It's always there, guiltless and pure. It can grow to be your saving grace, or it can forever stay in it's place while you go about your life. Sometimes experiences like that are the shifting factors in our decisions. Sometimes a moment isn't meant to last forever or follow you through life. It's a nudge in a direction. Talk about Impeccability. Love is waiting to be found, and it is always untarnished. So let it in, and let those first moments happen. Let it simply move something In you, or let it grow into something you never expected.

Until next time,

XoxoSunshineDealer.
